Therie and Coleman's Wedding

I've been a busy girl since getting back from Florida, but I wanted to share some pics from Therie and Coleman's awesome St George Island destination wedding.
Seriously, just thinking about this wedding makes me smile still! It was so romantic and wonderful!

Another Sneak Peak: Therie and Coleman's Gorgeous Beach Wedding

Yes, as the title implies, this is yet another sneak peak ;)
While I was down in Florida, I had the opportunity to shoot the destination wedding of Therie and Coleman on the (usually) lovely St George Island with my wonderful friend, Kim of Kim Stone Photography. Well, the day could NOT have been any more beautiful. The couple were some of the sweetest people I've ever met, and despite there being EIGHTEEN GROOMSMEN (thus the two photogs, right?) everyone was super sweet. The day was relaxed and romantic, and Kim and I had a blast!
More will be coming of this adorable couple, but here's a quick sneak peak:

There's a Caite on the OTHER Side of My Camera!

Okay, it has a different spelling, but really- I don't mind sharing my name with Caite. She's about as cute and sweet as can be!
Actually, two years ago, Caite was a junior bridesmaid in my wedding. Now, though, she's (almost) all grown up and gooooorgeous!
So while I was in Florida, I had the honor of shooting Caite's Senior Portraits!
Here's a sneak peak!

Everything Has to Start Somewhere

I'm going to let you in on a little secret- I've been thinking about starting a blog for a long time, and I have a really good reason that I haven't yet done it...
I didn't know where to start!
My life is constantly in a state of transition and movement, and there never really seems like a good place to say, 'Okay, now is a good time to let people in on the story'
It's sort of like I'm showing you the sequel and you never actually saw the first movie that is integral to the plot.

So, here's the plot up until now.

My name is Katie Bradford Osborne. I grew up in a tinsy weensy town in the Florida panhandle below Alabama. I still visit whenever I can, and if you sit down with me long enough, I'll fondly tell you all about it. All of my family is still there, and my husband's family, whom I also adopted as my own, are all in Southern West Virginia. (I'll also fondly carry on about West Virginia if given the chance)
Upon graduating high school, I took the long road to finally graduating with a business degree from the University of Florida (I didn't start there... that's why it's the long road) while living part time in West Virginia and part time in Florida. My husband, (whom I am simultaneously fiercely proud of and constantly exasperated with) graduated from medical school, I graduated with my degree, and we got married and moved to Philadelphia where I now call my home.

I love it here. I'm a city girl. I love the art and the food and the energy and the constant noise. At this point in my life, I couldn't see myself anywhere else!

But before I wax poetic and go on and on about Philly, back to my story. After moving here and working for a year in the business field, I realized I needed to where my passions actually lie- art, people, and business. Put it all together, and you've got PHOTOGRAPHY.

So, that's what I do. I'm a portrait artist. You can read my artist statement on my webpage (KBOPhotography.com) or you can just take my word for it by reading my work, instead. (That's probably more accurate... after all, if it weren't, I would have been a writer.)

I do on-location photographic artwork of babies, children, senior portraits, engagement portraits, weddings, bridal portraits, trash-the-dress sessions... basically, if you're a person who would like to be captured in a piece of art, I want to take your picture. If you're artistic and fun and have tons of energy, I REALLY want to take your picture!

Aaaaaaand, that's me. I'm a Southern Bell with an addiction to Diet Coke who loves sushi, Indian food, shoes, and my family. And just about more than anything, I would love to take your picture ;)

And without further ado, I give you a quick sampling of my work
(I'll change this as I do more fun stuff... but for now, this will give you something to start with)
