Lots going on in Katieland!
My sister is here visiting, so of course I couldn't resist the opportunity to shoot her! But, as those of you who actually know my sister are aware, she is SO HARD to get in front of a camera!
But even Joy couldn't resist Rosemary's birthday Saturday ;) So while Rosemary was shooting us both, I took the opportunity to get a few shots in myself.

KatieO - Fashion Plate!

One of the cool things about being a photographer: My friends are, quite often, also photographers! So when my friends and I get together, there is quite often a camera involved. So that was our only motivation for a fun shoot about town when my friend, Rosemary, and I got together the other day. And, Wowza! I look fierce!
And this is how talent turns a 5-foot-tall goof ball into a fashion plate!




I'm a shoe fiend. Seriously- I treat them like my babies. But NO ONE can say these babies aren't smokin!

This is what happens when you tell me you're up for anything...

When I began correspondence with Kristin, she told me she was up for ANYTHING.

So of course I interpreted that to mean I could stick feathers to her face and throw her in a stream. *haha*

As an aside, anyone who knows me knows how much I love makeup. It might be the Southern lady in me who can't leave the house without her full face, but it's probably the dramatic artist in me who wants to do it for all of my fashion and artistic shoots. I just love makeup.

And I had A BLAST with Kristina's makeup and with Kristina, herself! She's great, and she really IS up for anything!







** No butterflies were harmed in the shooting of this pic... she held it for a grand total of about four seconds ;)

Presenting: The Awesome Camille!

So lately I had the pleasure of shooting Camille, a model here in Philly. LOVE this girl- she's so talented, and I had a really great time!
We started out down South Street around the famous Jim's Steaks. Honestly, I have to say that down South Street with its murals and shops and energy is one of my favorite parts of my favorite city. From there, we headed towards her neighborhood, and I got to shoot with a giant pink tank. I don't know the story there... but, yeah- someone painted a tank pink. There's no place quite like Philly...
